Virtual Skipper 5: 32nd America's Cup is the fifth installment of the Virtual Skipper series.
Gameplay[]
Virtual Skipper 5 focuses on the 32nd America's cup being held in Valencia, Spain in 2007. Players can take the helm of many different boat classes, including the International America's Cup Class, the Melges 24, the Offshore Racer, the Open 60, the Trimaran and some others which can be accessed from unofficial sources.
The game has single player and multiplayer modes. In single player mode, players have competitions in match racing and fleet racing. Multiplayer mode has that too and team racing. The races take place on any different courses in various settings ranging from Valencia to Rio to Sydney and many more. a race course is usually a windward leeward with a gate at the leeward end.
Other features include full waves and weather and built in wind shifts that affect the tactics. There is also a full set of International Sailing Federation rules and a tutorial mode that is meant to teach players how to sail the boats and follow the rules in order to gain a tactical advantage, which is very important in sailing.
