TrackMania Nations Forever	TrackMania: Build to Race

TrackMania DS is the fifth major title in the TrackMania series.

Gameplay[]

The game offers gameplay similar to that of other TrackMania games. It features three single-player modes: Race, Platform and Puzzle, as well as three environments: Stadium, Desert and Rally. Playing on tracks in single-player mode earns players coppers which can be used to buy blocks, skins, and other tracks.

Players can also create their own tracks with the track-editor, which has over 300 blocks, including UFOs for Desert, and hot air balloons for Rally, both of which were never featured on the console versions. They can also have up to four friends play together in multiplayer mode. There is no online connectivity, though.

This is the first game in the TrackMania series to be released for console, as well as the first not to be developed by Nadeo and the first since TrackMania Sunrise to feature three environments.
The game has music similar to that of TrackMania United, United Forever, and Nations Forever.
The music used in the trailers would later be used for the Desert and Rally environments in TrackMania: Build to Race.
The most coppers a player can earn is 1,048,575 coppers. This value corresponds to the maximum value of a 20-bit unsigned integer, suggesting the game uses this integer format for saving the copper count.
