Ubisoft is a French multinational video game developer and publisher headquartered in Montreulli, France. On 5 October 2009, they acquired Nadeo and have been the publishers for their games since 2011, starting with TrackMania 2: Canyon.

Ubisoft was founded by the five Guillemot brothers in March of 1986 in the small village of Carentoir. They would soon go to become the largest video game distributor in France.
